Production planning.

• Develop and manage production plans and schedules based on customer demand, order requirements, available capacity, and delivery commitments.
• Determine machine capacity, material requirements, and manpower needs for job orders to ensure efficient resource allocation and production execution.
• Monitor production plan execution and schedule attainment to ensure customer requirements, and on-time delivery targets are achieved.
• Identify and investigate production planning and control issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions to minimise production delays.
• Review changes in customer orders, priorities, and production requirements, and make necessary production schedule adjustments to maintain operational efficiency.
• Evaluate machine loading and production capacity to identify potential constraints, and support short-term and long-term production planning.

Material planning.

• Analyse customer forecasts and demand requirements, and translate them into raw material requirements and supplier forecasts.
• Perform material requirements planning (MRP) based on production schedules, customer demand, current inventory, and anticipated consumption.
• Plan and monitor raw material deliveries to ensure material availability, prevent production shortages, and minimise excess inventory and overstocking.
• Analyse actual raw material consumption versus planned usage, and make necessary adjustments to material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels, material availability, and stock requirements to support uninterrupted production operations.

Coordination and reporting

• Prepare and analyse Monthly Machine Capacity Reports for management review, production planning, and capacity decision making.
• Coordinate production and material control issues with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and other relevant departments.
• Lead daily cross-functional meetings to communicate production status, material shortages, capacity constraints, and other priority operational issues.
• Conduct monthly capacity planning meetings and coordinate with customers regarding demand requirements, production capacity, forecasts, and delivery commitments.
• Perform production planning, material control, inventory monitoring, and transaction processing using the ERP system, ensuring timely and accurate data management.

• Conduct applicant screening and interviews to support recruitment and hiring activities for Production Operators and Material Handlers.
• Handle various HR and administrative functions, including employee documentation, records management, and general administrative support that is related to the production department.
• Process Purchase Requests (PRs) using the ERP system, ensuring accurate preparation, submission, and documentation.
• Track and regularly update the status of Purchase Requests (PRs), and coordinate with concerned departments to ensure timely processing.
• Monitor and control production consumables, injection moulding machine spare parts, and robot arm spare parts to support uninterrupted production operations.
• Conduct monthly physical inventory and stock reconciliation to maintain inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyse the Monthly Production Defect Rate Report to support quality performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
