Experienced with troubleshooting technical problems to ensure seamless IT operations. Utilizes diagnostic tools and customer service skills to resolve issues promptly. Knowledge of network configurations and software installations, ensuring optimized system performance.
1. Assists user in the use of standard office software.
2. Monitors employees’ needs and requirements that may involve use of IT.
3. Recommends software to be used within the branch/campus.
4. Ensures the protection and maintenance of all software for office use.
5. Assists user in the implementation of developed systems for campus/branch use.
6. Ensures all data and software on disk/server is protected and that the proper back-up plans are implemented.
7. Ensures that all delivered software are working and that they complying with the required specifications. Keeps inventory records for all software licenses and ensure that all media are kept in good working condition.
8. Coordinates with the campus/branch School Director on matters related to computer lab use and office IT programs.
9. Complies with all directives of the SV/CIO or his authorized representative.
10. Supports all activities of the branch/campus that would involve use of IT software.
11. Ensures that all software used by the campus is complete and updated at all times.
12. Reports to immediate superior any non-routine concern or problem that requires higher level of decision making.
13. Performs task of a Property Officer such as, but not limited to:
a. receives requisitions for suppliers from different departments before requests are forwarded to the head office; follows up requisitions of suppliers and equipment with the head office;
b. receives and inspects quality of incoming suppliers accompanied with delivery receipt and gate pass; issues gate pass for outgoing materials;
c. maintains and updates stock cards for suppliers on hand;
d. prepares issuance receipts for delivery of requested suppliers to respective departments;
e. prepares monthly stock position reports as well as books of receiving reports;
f. monitors all supplies from property stock to bookstore supplies and makes necessary requests; and
g. does annual inventory of fixed assets, tools, equipment and supplies.
14. Performs task of a Digital Laboratory Technician such as, but not limited to:
a. attends to the needs of every student with regards to the performance of the equipment;
b. prepares the materials and equipment that will be used by the students as required by the authorized faculty member;
c. operates the equipment;
d. reports any damage or malfunction of digital equipment to the Dean;
e. requests the needed consumable materials and equipment;
f. monitors and makes sure that the materials and equipment that are borrowed by the students will be returned in good condition;
g. maintains the security and safety of the materials and equipment; and
h. maintains the cleanliness and orderliness in the laboratory.
15. Performs other related duties as may be assigned superior.
