• Operational Planning: Developing and executing operational plans that support company's mission and strategy. This includes setting objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and milestones for various operational departments.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that company complies with all relevant regulatory requirements, which are particularly stringent in life sciences industry. This may include managing quality control and assurance programs, maintaining documentation, and overseeing regulatory submissions.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators to evaluate success of operational activities and make adjustments as needed to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Financial Management: Managing budget for operational departments and ensuring that expenses are in line with company objectives.

Responsible for APAC – Philippines & India

• ~10 accounts under Life Science Business Unit for Philippines. Logos are from pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical devices companies.
• Domains/Process covered are Pharmacovigilance, Complaints Handling and Management, Regulatory Reporting, Adverse Event Contact Center, Product Quality Contact Center, Order Management, Sales & Support, Returns & Exchanges, Platform-based Helpdesk (L1, L2), Patient Scheduling, Specialist Rep Scheduling), Patient Registration Services
• Work Type: Back-end and Contact Center (40:60)
• Number of FTEs across 10 accounts: ~1000 FTEs

• Concurrent functions: decision maker in key transformation agenda (e.g., innovation; analytics) – specifically on identification of process efficiencies, reduction of cost and improvement in quality.
• Analysis of whole operations and identifying areas for improvement, areas for further growth and opportunities, etc.
• Capacity planning, inventory management, right-sizing operational team
• Act as Global Process Owner for certain domains
• Accountable for financial and operational management of accounts assigned. This includes monitoring revenue (location wise), cost and identifying continuous areas of cost reduction.

• Coverage of Operational Management/Performance Management: 13 countries (SEA, China, Japan, Australia, India, Taiwan, Korea)
• Project Portfolio Director for projects in: Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Korea, Indonesia
• Project Management Operations coverage: APAC (where there are PMs available) – Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Philippines, Thailand

• Regional POC for Partnership Sponsor covering whole APAC region.
• Review Country Management Reports (productivity and utilization metrics) and provide accurate inputs. Leads extraction of data from Business Objects and analyze data collectively with Country Head. (Fully in-charge of reporting data, insights to Sr. Management globally)
• In-charge of all Finance issues, such as Taxation implementation for Operations. Directly liaises with regional finance group, including need for any decision-making locally.
• In-charge of full implementation of CMA role (in-house clinical staff) since its' official roll-out last 2009. Directly manages all CMAs for Philippines.

• Clinical Team Lead for Program Phase III studies covering 5 countries (Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Hongkong and Philippines)
• Project Manager/Clinical Team Lead (Hybrid) for stand alone Phase III study covering Philippines only.
• CRA for global Phase 3 study covering 9 sites in Philippines
• Acts as OIC (Officer-in-charge) when Associate Director/Country Head is away on Vacation/Business Travels. (Deemed as immediate successor in the official Succession Plan)
