One such approach that has gained significant momentum is blended learning. • CHED FACULTY TRAINING FOR THE NEW GENERAL EDUCATION (GE) CORE COURSES, 11/2017
• The new GE curriculum (CMO no. 20, s. 2013) sets minimum standards for the GE component of all undergraduate degree programs in private and public higher education institutions (HEIs) in the country. It will be implemented starting Academic Year 2018-19, and it aims to expose undergraduates to various domains of knowledge and ways of comprehending social and natural realities, in the process, developing intellectual competencies and civic capacities. CHED has produced 900 trained trainers during its Training of GE Trainers last October 2016 and January 2017. Moreover, 2,884 GE faculty from 37 DHEIs nationwide have completed the Second-Generation GE Faculty Training last April and May 2017. - Acquire the pedagogical qualities of a college teacher - Demonstrate the key skill in teaching and learning the new GE CURRICULUM.
• Cebu Citizens Involvement and Maturation in People Empowerment and Liberation
• THE C-Cimpel (Cebu - Citizens Involvement and Maturation in People's Empowerment and Liberation)
• C-Cimpel is urging its volunteers to distance themselves from political candidates and even Church-based pro-life groups who are endorsing candidates for the May 13 polls. -Watched and monitored voters in designated area/station. Maintain peace and order throughout the election.
• 51st NATIONAL and 12th INTERNATIONAL PAFTE CONVENTION
• PAFTE is the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators, a non-profit, non-stock, organization of teachers and educators. It helps the teacher to acquire pedagogical skills in teaching. The 51st National and 12th International PAFTE Convention with the theme: Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education in the New Normal
