Job Description:

Business Portfolio Management

a. Conceptualize, formulate and operationalize volume-generating programs to achieve sales volume, trade & farm placement & penetration and grow market share.

b. Conduct demand creation activities within area of responsibility.

c. Recommend pricing, special discounts and other tactical programs to be competitive and attain incremental sales volume in the assigned area.

d. Coordinate closely and regularly with sales offices for feeds and veterinary medicines product requirements.

e. Prepare sales forecast.

f. Handle product complaints and other related concerns.


Market & Business Development

a. Conduct industry and market reading and analysis of market trends, identifying business opportunities and growth areas necessary for the formulation of programs and strategies aligned with business objectives to improve volume performance and market share in the assigned area.

b. Prepare and submit periodic reports on industry and market situation and competitive developments.

c. Establish pilot and demo farms to monitor performance data as well as showcase and promote B-Meg products.

c. Act as a liaison officer between SMF Feeds Business and Local Government Units/NGOs, Poultry and Hog Raisers Associations and other stakeholders in implementing business-building activities.


Accomplishments:

  • Grew the B-Meg Feeds Business in Southern Leyte territory from 12,000 in March 2018 to 20,000 bags in March 2019.
  • Grew the Animal Health and Pet Care Business (a segment formed to promote the new Pet Care and Animal Health products) whole Eastern Visayas territory from 0 (March 2019) to 3,000 bags (July 2023).
  • Grew B-Meg Feeds Business Calbayog territory from 11,000 bags to 20,000 bags.
  • Ranked #3 in Visayas Region for 1st Quarter of 2024.
  • Consistently hitting sales targets 12/12 months in 2024.
