Area: Operating Room

• Circulate, scrub, and assist on a variety of cases (General, Orthopedic, ENT, Urology,

Caesarean Section)

• Maintained supplies and assured cleanliness/sterility of surgical area

• Cared for specimens and cultures as directed by set policies and procedures

• Prepared rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies.

• Examined instruments, equipment and surgical setup to ensure that antiseptic and aseptic

methods were followed.

Tonsillectomy, Laparotomy, appendectomy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, Open Reduction internal fixation, Caesarean Section, D&C, Removal of Pilonidal Sinus, Hemorrhoidectomy.

Area: Medical/Surgical and Orthopedic Ward

Position: Head Nurse/Staff Nurse 48 hours / week, 5-10 Patients

Roles, Responsibilities, Skills:

• Participate in the development and implementation of unit goal, objectives, protocols, standards,

policies and procedure that are consistent with those of the nursing service and the Hospital.

• Monitor and directs administrative and clinical activities in the assigned ward or unit to ensure the

highest possible level of patient care.

• Direct supervises and evaluates performance of all nursing staff assigned to the ward or clinical area,

providing counseling and disciplinary action as needed.

• Act as a clinical resource person for direct patient care.

• Checking of drugs, supplies, instruments and maintaining inventories.

• Complies with infection control, safety and quality assurance program in the unit.

Area: Medical/Surgical and Orthopedic Ward

• Assess the needs of the patients in the ward and make nursing care plan for all patients.

• Give direct patient care (bed making, changing of bed sheets, mouth care, back care, bed bathing, hair

wash, changing of position etc).

• Fulfill all patient basic needs (hygienic need, nutritional need etc.

• Provide comfort to the patient and maintain safety of the patient.

· Supporting the admission/ discharge of patients.

· Manage symptoms in collaboration with Senior Nursing and Other Member of the HEALTH Care Team.

those important to them.

• Assisted with induction of labor and various obstetric procedures.

• Monitored fetal heart rate, and mother's vital signs.

• Provided education and support to mothers and families after delivery.

• Performed all the duties and functions of an Operating Circulating and Scrub Nurse
