  • Serves as Acting Governor (Head of State) during the Governor’s absence, exercising full constitutional duties and executive authority, including policy direction, oversight of government operations, and representation of the State.
  • Exercises executive decision-making authority during emergencies—coordinating rapid response, directing inter-agency action, and ensuring continuity of essential services.
  • Provides executive oversight for assigned portfolios: Department of Public Health, Department of Education, Public Lands, and sector grant programs, ensuring alignment with State priorities, transparency and accountable service delivery.

  • Member of the 10th and 2 terms 11th focus on policy, debating and passing bills and amendments to improve State laws or create laws that would be serve the betterment of the public.
  • Chaired the Committee on Public Works responsible for setting and conducting hearings on Legislation related to Infrastructure, Transportation, Communication, and Utilities. Oversight authority on PTA, PPA, PUC and all related matters relating to infrastructure development.

  • Worked on contract with SPC as Pacific Business Women Counsellor providing support and counselling to women owned businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs through trainings and business counselling.

  • Served as Pohnpei State first Public Auditor, a position established by Constitutional Mandate. Established office by putting in place auditing standards manual, creating an organizational framework to ensure that competent staff are brought on board to carry out audits.
  • Ensure that systems are in place to esure quality and efficient audits and ensuring findings are followed through and implemented.
  • Ensure that tools and trainings were necessary to carry out audits that are made available.

  • First job out of college as staff auditor supervised by a senior auditor performing regular examinations of financial records, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulations and efficiency.
  • Promoted in a year to a Senior Auditor, planning audits, supervising staff auditors, organizing workflow of work by staff auditors and financial records, review workpapers of staff, managing risks and reporting findings.
