Hydrographic Survey Officer

  • Plan and execute hydrographic surveys (including bathymetric data acquisition, bottom sampling, coastline topographic survey, and verification of ATONs and DTONs);
  • Operate and maintain survey instruments such as multibeam and singlebeam echosounders, GNSS receivers, sound velocity profiler, XBT, digital level, and tide gauge;
  • Post-process and package acquired bathymetric data in accordance to internal and local standards;
  • Accomplish and organize data acquisition and processing log sheets;
  • Establish horizontal control points in the required order;
  • Establish temporary tide stations and conduct tidal leveling;
  • Generate DEMs and bathymetric smooth sheets from the acquired and post-processed datasets;
  • Prepare hydrographic descriptive reports for survey projects; and
  • Attend and receive technical trainings for professional development.


Engineering Duty Officer

  • Manage the Machinery Unit of the vessel and the crew belonging to the unit;
  • Maintain operational status and seaworthiness of various machinery systems (propulsion, power generation, sanitation, firefighting, plumbing, etc.);
  • Prepare and carry out preventive maintenance plans and activities for various machinery systems;
  • Prepare technical inspection reports and incident reports for equipment maintenance; and
  • Report and coordinate with the Commanding Officer regarding all concerns of the vessel's machinery systems.


Navigation Officer

  • Coordinate with the Commanding Officer of the vessel and prepare voyage plans ensuring efficient utilization of resources; and
  • Operate and maintain navigational onboard equipment such as ECDIS, RADAR, AIS transceiver, weather monitoring sensors, and navigational lights.
