Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks.
Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance.
Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time.
Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts.
Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and
regulations.
Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state
regulations.
Preparing Japanese-style Katsu dishes,
Primarily focusing on frying meat cutlets to a precise standard, Following established recipes and procedures while adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines, all within a fast-paced kitchen environment at a Yabu House of Katsu restaurant; key responsibilities include prepping ingredients, accurately cooking Katsu, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring consistent quality of dishes as per Yabu standards.
