• Assists in design, implementation, and execution of effective Construction safety program that is specific to projects and is contractually binding for all enrolled contractors and subcontractors
• Communicate with contractors and/or their subcontractors regarding corrective actions for safety program infractions or other non-compliance, up to and including work stoppage
• Monitor contractor’s compliance with applicable safety requirements including contract specifications, Contractor HSE Manual, OSHA regulations, and DPWH procedures
• Performs documented safety audits and inspections of construction personnel and contractor activities
• Monitors safety regulations for changes and revises Construction Safety Manual, contract specifications and other documents to assure compliance
• Develops and conducts safety training programs for Owner's personnel and contractors including OSHA and OSH related safety requirements and SEC safety requirements
• Conducts accident investigation, prepares written accident investigation reports for senior management and presents reports to senior management
• Acts as safety liaison with contractors and outside agencies such as OSHA, DOLE, DPWH, BWC and other third parties
• Review and Provide comments and recommendations for Terms of Reference (TOR) of Project contracts
• Provide comments on safety-related design and drawings of contractor such as Firefighting, Hazardous area classification, Environmental control systems, water treatment systems
• Review and comments on contractor safety manual and procedures prior to commencement of construction
• Ensure that contractor is in compliance with regulatory requirement set forth by Philippine Government most especially for foreign contractors
• Review and provide comments for contractor bid documents related to Safety, Health, and Environment

Oversee the overall HSE implementation of EPC Contractors for 2X105MW Coal Fired Power Project

• Phase 1 (1 X 105MW) - completed 2016
• Phase 2 (1 X 105MW) - completed 2019

- Coordinates the Safety, Health, and Environmental Plan for SM200 210MW Coal-Fired Power Plant project to all contractors.

- Conducts Site Safety inspections and audits; monitors construction Site HSE program implementation to ensure it is within the standard practice; enforces the requirements of Sarangani Energy Corporation's Construction Health, Safety, and Environmental manual including Contract technical safety specifications; provide assistance with the contractor safety and security certification

• Assisted in worksite incident investigations, helping to determine cause and fault to ascertain liability.

• Supervising/leading and coordinating plant maintenance and project activities including manpower and material resources
• Oversee preventative maintenance implementation and repair of plant equipment, facilities and field equipment
• Oversee plant workers assigned to equipment upkeep and construction projects including maintenance technicians & contractors
• Responsible for overall maintenance of Polomolok Plant
• Generally required to be skilled in the activities of workers being supervised and will perform the tasks of workers in the group to maintain maintenance and project schedule of plant machinery & equipment, building structures and other site facilities
