Copyandpaste, Inc. is a Web development company based in the Philippines and is a subsidiary of Norwegian companies, Kloner AS and Copyleft Solutions.

My work with the company is in a hybrid role, consisting of 70% development and 30% management.

Key responsibilities and achievements as Senior Developer:

• Handle complex development projects and tasks.
• Create code infrastructure in both Frontend and Backend used as point of reference used by other developers.
• Create internal APIs and manage integration and consumption of Third-party APIs.
• Manage databases and optimized structures and queries.
• Work on UI / UX tasks in Frontend, while making sure designs are implemented down as required.
• Develop internal platforms for company use, including CRM and Web builder projects.
• Handle minor server tasks while coordinating with DevOps in resolving more complex issues.

Key responsibilities and achievements as Operations Manager:

• Communicate with clients to figure out technical requirements of their software projects.
• Determine any potential blockers for projects and provide recommendations to solutions.
• Provide timelines for projects based on technical specifications to assist sales team in generating proposals for clients.
• Research and analyze current software development trends and technologies.
• Analyze projects and distribute tasks to developers while making sure that assignments corresponds to the skillsets of each member.
• Handle recruitment processes as well as provide skills assessments to existing developers.
• Provide technical advice to developers who are experiencing blockers with their projects.

Working with a team of developers, I have helped in building a suite of applications from start to post production.

Primarily using Laravel + Vue JS + MySQL stack I have performed the following responsibilities:

• Developed APIs using service / repository patterns.
• Integrated with multiple Third-party APIs
• Developed features.
• Worked on large data using queues for processing.
• Developed client facing UI.
• Developed admin UI to be used by internal team.
• Coordinated with DevOps in setting up and configuring server environments in AWS.
• Implemented automated backups for large data.
