Elmer Ostria

Elmer Ostria is a Regional Sales Manager and concurrently the Power Transformer Business Segment Leader in East Asia. He is also appointed as Resident Agent of the Megger Representative Office in Philippines which was established in 2013. He has over 16 years of experience at Megger from technical support to being promoted to sales/distributor management role. His experience of being a substation engineer has gained him more knowledge on wide variety of testing applications. He is a Registered Electrical Engineer in the Philippines and a life member of the local IIEE. Elmer now leads the team to promote/implement new testing innovation in the field of transformer testing and share the benefits of this technology to our customers in the region.

As the Megger Applications Engineer n the region, Elmer was tasked to handle customer support such as technical presentations and training to assist the sales distributors to sell the products. He was also involved in troubleshooting the instrument and assist in warranty repairs. He was heavily involved in travelling to other countries in Southeast and North Asia in support of these duties. He has also undergone training in the factory in USA, United Kingdom, Sweden and Germany.
