As a Restaurant Manager, I am responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure a high standard of service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. My role includes managing and supporting the restaurant staff, handling guest complaints effectively, and ensuring smooth coordination between the kitchen and front-of-house teams. My goal as a restaurant manager is to lead a well-coordinated team that delivers outstanding food and service, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return.
I started my career in the hospitality industry in 2016 with the Raintree Group of Restaurants as a Host, where I was in charge of handling reservations for both small groups and large-scale events. My strong communication skills and ability to engage with guests led to my promotion as a Server, where I consistently provided excellent service that encouraged guests to return.
In 2017, I was promoted to Captain Server. In this role, I began supervising and mentoring my fellow servers, helping improve overall team performance. I was also assigned inventory responsibilities, gaining experience in stock monitoring and ordering, which helped streamline restaurant operations.
In 2019, I resigned from Raintree and joined The Bistro Group, once again starting as a Host. Within just six months, I was promoted to Server, a role where I thrived. I took great pride in guest engagement—treating every customer as if they were a guest in my own home. This personal approach created a warm and welcoming dining experience, contributing to a growing number of regular and loyal guests.
By 2020, I advanced to the role of In-Store Trainer (IST), where I was responsible for onboarding and training new team members, teaching them how to properly engage with guests and deliver excellent service. In 2021, I was promoted to Assistant Restaurant Manager. However, due to the pandemic, our restaurant temporarily closed operations.
In 2022, I became part of the pioneer team that launched a new branch of the restaurant. It was a challenging yet exciting experience where I led multiple training programs for newly hired staff, focusing on service sequence, guest interaction, and teamwork. Our successful opening reflected the strength of our preparation and collaboration.
In 2023, I was promoted to Restaurant Manager. In this role, I now oversee the full operations of the restaurant, including both the dining area and kitchen. I ensure the delivery of high-quality food, excellent customer service, and effective team management. I continue to seek new knowledge and skills to further improve our service and guest satisfaction.
