Helped clients transition from residential facilities to independent living situations with appropriate support in place.
Responsible for raising awareness of the SOS Child Protection Policy principles within own area of work. Aimed to prevent and protect children from all forms of abuse, abandonment, exploitation, violence, and discrimination.
Required to report any Child Safeguarding suspicion, concern, allegation, or incident immediately, following the reporting procedures. Child Safeguarding reports should be made to the IOR Child Safeguarding focal person and/or to the respective line manager.
Created Social Case Study Reports with interventions for the best interest and welfare of the child. - Supported caregivers in the discharge of their duties of providing care for children in their family houses, under the leadership of the Alternative Care Coordinator.
Engaged in direct work with the children and caregivers based on professional social work practice, ethics, and values to achieve the sustainable development of the SOS families and future integration of children into their community.
