Role:

• Senior technical expert on different virtualization and hardware technologies including monitoring, maintenance and continuous improvement of the virtualization environments and associated areas to prevent system outages, optimize performance, ensure high availability and capacity management
• Act as the senior technical escalation point
• Act as the primary technical resource responsible for instigating new technologies into operations
• Facilitate the delivery of new technologies including adoption, training & KT for relevant team members to aid a smooth transition into operations
• Be a key technical resource on behalf of operations in all projects and improvement programs that relate to current and future technology
• Produce Technical documentation. Design Processes and templates. Develop Standard Operating Procedures
• Reviewed project specifications and designed technology solutions that met or exceeded performance expectations
• Worked with various team to design and develop robust solutions to meet client requirements for functionality, scalability and performance

Tasks:

• Manage Windows 2003, 2008/R2, 2012/R2, 2016 and 2019 servers with the following roles and features: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, File/Print, DFS, NPS, Failover Clustering, and Hyper-V
• Manage VMware vSphere v5.5, v6.x, v7.x, including availability technologies such as vSphere Replication (VR), Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
• Perform analysis, optimization, and security hardening
• ITIL: Incident, Problem, Capacity, and Change Management
• Projects: Hyper-V 2008 to 2012 Migration, Clustered Hyper-V 2012 Server Build, P2V (Physical to Virtual), Storage Migration (EMC SAN to Hitachi Storage System), File Server Migration, VMware VM Migration from 6.x to 7.x

• Manage Windows 2003, 2008/R2 and 2012/R2 servers with the following roles and features: Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, File/Print, NPS
• Manage VMware vSphere Infrastructure (v5.x)
• Administer and support On-Prem and Cloud (VM servers)
• Reporting: Daily operations, Weekly Server Capacity and Performance, Change Management, Project Delivery
• ITIL: Incident, Problem and Change Management
• Projects handled: Build, upgrade, migration, and decommission (physical and virtual) servers

• Administer and manage sites in APAC Region (Philippines, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore)
• Troubleshoot and fix operational issues
