

At my core, I am an educator with high standards for myself, my students, and the organizations I serve. With over a decade in bilingual and international schools across China, I’ve developed a teaching practice focused on building strong foundations in language, literacy, and inquiry through engaging, interdisciplinary learning experiences. I've since stepped outside the classroom to pursue an entrepreneurial path, now operating at a unique intersection. I am actively operating an independent educational support service that offers targeted literacy development, while also expanding into educational consultancy. My ongoing goal is to build strategic partnerships with schools across the Asia-Pacific whether by joining a single, mission-aligned school or by consulting for multiple institutions, to help turn their most persistent challenges with IB, curriculum and literacy into tangible, headache-free results.
Built a Foundational Literacy Framework: Designed and implemented the school's first comprehensive K-6 language and literacy framework, encompassing phonics, grammar, and core literacy skills, including a research-based, grade-specific phonics progression.
Introduced Standardized Assessment Systems: Created and rolled out standardized tools for evaluating student learning, including writing rubrics, reading proficiency benchmarks, and oral presentation criteria, establishing consistent methods to track and report progress.
Established Collaborative Planning Structures: Coordinated grade-level planning meetings and resource-sharing protocols to foster curriculum consistency and provide direct instructional support to teaching staff.
