Summary
A board top notcher for customs broker examination with 18 years of experience in the difference logistics field. I worked for Fedex as import/export specialist where I was exposed to the different procedures of Philippines customs. Then I practiced as customs agent where I represented my clients before the Bureau of Customs. This helped me understand deeply the importance of customs broker in the logistics industry and how logistics affects our lives. After, I got an offer to work for BPO- Webb Fontaine, Asia while practicing my profession. This was a very humbling experience as we were helping the Customs Administration of Ivory Coast and Ghana, West Africa collect correct duties and taxes by applying the tariff classification and customs valuation. After my stint in Webb Fontainne, I joined the government where we focused in creating policies for customs. Further, we conducted customs audit for identified importers and provided recommendation to the Finance Secretary for the collection of additional duties and taxes. After Finance, I went back to the private sector as Manager for Freight Forwarder and Customs Brokerage. In this position, I developed the procedures for covid vaccine importations, breakk bulk and ship's spares and other urgent shipments. After 3 years I left and join JRS Express to help grow their intl business.

Im an outdoorsy person before I have a child. I love the beach, the salt water and underneath the sea. Before I got a kid, I got certified as scuba diver. After scuba I fell in love with mountain climbing and got to summit the Philippines highest mountains and Japan's iconic Mt. Fuji. The, I got fascinated with surfing.
However, due to my new responsibilities and priorities I have set aside my sports and nor focus on working and raising my kid. Hopefully, my my new employer, I would be able to practice my sports.
