⬥ Provides ER advisory, guidance and consultation to people managers and employees and conducts initial review and investigation of workplace issues within the required response time (SLAs).
⬥ Conducts end-to-end Tier-1 ER case handling for the Philippines sites covering from case endorsement until serving of notice of resolution which includes preliminary investigation and/or interview, collection of evidence/s, serving of notice/s, facilitation of administrative conferences, issuance of notice of resolution (non-termination and termination).
⬥ Works closely with other departments such as HR Business Partners, HR Global Employee Support, Legal, Global Security & Investigation, Compliance to carry out ER services and case handling and conducts “MERC - Managing Employee Relations Challenges” trainings to Philippines People Managers to equip them with the right skills in handling employee-employer issues
⬥ Regularly reviews and enhances the strategies, plans, and policies supporting the Employee Relations functions and services including stakeholder management
Manager Services
Serves as a clearing house for inquiries and service requests coming in through an in-house intake tool to cater People Manager (except HR) from Philippines, Singapore and Hong Kong encompassing the following responsibilities:
⬥ We performed initial assessment of alleged violations and determined if the cases were valid Suspension/Dismissal endorsement for further investigation of Employee Relations from 2016 to 2018.
⬥ Serves as GPS Solutions Team’s SME in handling PHL Medical Case Review and Management (MCM) and closely partners with Vendor Managers, Clinic team, People Managers, HR Business Partner, Employee Relations and Legal to escalate related issues and provide data to bring recommendations impacting process improvement and streamlining of process. Worked with a team for the revamp of MCM process which included learning sessions, built of the infrastructure which aims to decrease handling time and meet appropriate SLA for Medical Case Monitoring Management.—make this short
⬥ Processes suite of services within the set SLAs: approval of company and statutory leaves eligibility, PHL Compressed Work Week, RIF (Reduction in Force), data change (Manager Connection tool), Home Visit Requests, Payroll escalations, time tracking tool, Offboarding while closely coordinating with HR Service Delivery, HR Business Partners, Employee Relations, Recruiting, Compensation and Benefits, Learning & OD and GPS (Global People Support) from other locations (EMEA, NAMR).
⬥ Performs peer-checking approach per transaction to meet QA requirements and participates in control testing activities as needed
⬥ Manages end-to-end full-cycle of high-volume portfolio of job openings for regular backfills, new migrations, bilingual, niche profile hiring requirements from entry level up to managerial level positions
⬥ Attends regular business management meetings to report recruitment data and updates.
⬥ Serves as SME in hiring CIB profile and acts as a trainer of the Secondees deployed to our team and participate in the UATs of firmwide recruitment projects
⬥ Schedules interviews (coordinate with candidate, hiring manager, recruiter) and attends external job fairs
⬥ Facilitates pre-screening examinations and conducts initial interviews for walk-in applicants.
⬥ Audits new hire paperwork to ensure that the team is 100% compliant in the hiring process
⬥ Handles processing of company and government benefits
⬥ Conducts monthly New Employee Orientation to 3 location sites.
⬥ Serves as HR representative and/or speaker in the Wellness Programs and HMO Roadshow projects
⬥ Provides measured resolution to employees' inquiries logged at an HR tool
⬥ Processes payroll through timekeeping report and payroll instruction (deductions) endorse to a third-party payroll provider.
⬥ Handles processing of company and government-mandated benefits
⬥ Maintains employee database and HR working calendar.
⬥ Facilitates General Assembly on a monthly basis and arranges Team Buildings solely handled by HR team
⬥ Processes company and government-mandated benefits
