• Led and mentored the DevSecOps team.

Mr Yum provides beautiful mobile menus for order & pay, thoughtfully designed for hospitality and entertainment.

I am a Sr. Software Engineer at Mr. Yum specifically handling the design and engineering of system integrations involving point of sale (POS) & CRM systems helping the business expand to markets and partners at global scale. I have been able to build and deliver 12 POS integrations and 1 CRM integration while also involved in several initiatives that are part of improving the overall integration codebase.

Most of the work I am involved within Mi-C3 are related to software product design and architecture for the Affectli Software Suite. I have also helped in the engineering and implementation of the microservices architecture that I have designed to solve the problems that the product and company are experiencing while scaling. I have made the initiative to implement DevOps best practices and culture while also sharing my experience with cloud-native tooling that enabled us to build robust and enterprise-grade software solutions.

TOWA is a software application that’s built to provide ease of management in the performance of the end-to-end cycle of facilities management. The app aims to increase efficiency and significantly reduce costs and friction throughout the facilities management value chain with a platform that integrates people, places, services and technologies.

I have led a band of engineers and a UI/UX designer in creating a minimum viable product (MVP) for the company. My contributions include:

1. Engineering Leadership

I've laid down the engineering best practices and DevOps culture as the direction by which the engineering team operates.

2. Software Architecture

Microservice Architecture with use of Microservice Frameworks, Docker Containers, Kubernetes.

3. Software Design

Data, process modelling and software specifications. Complete software documentation for the team.

4. Software Engineering

Engineered the back-end and implemented the different design patterns I've laid out on the Software Design and Architecture.

5. Software Monitoring

Designed the software to be observable and setup monitoring solutions (Google Stackdriver & others) to fully monitor software behaviour and measure software performance in an automated fashion.

Led the Tech Startup company in building a product and business around Vehicle Telematics & Fleet Management System. Released our minimum viable product (MVP) within three months and have acquired a small number of customers and partners within the span of six months.

The startup needed a round of funding in order to grow the business and develop the product further, so I decided to look for external funding. I was able to discuss/pitch it with FutureNow Ventures but got an offer to build a new business instead (which resulted to Reekoh) which made use of the idea of a device agnostic approach as the backbone for a horizontal Internet of Things (IoT) platform.

Engineered CRM Software for West Corporation's clients. The clients that I have been involved with are mainly banks/financial institutions that include AMEX and First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO). These CRM Applications are used by West Corporation's CSR teams to serve our client's customers and help them with issues concerning their accounts and transactions. The CRM applications that I helped engineer with my team have replaced decades old systems that were still being used at that time. It helped these institutions to better serve their customer's needs with updated CRM processes and the speed by which they can resolve issues that resulted in greater customer satisfaction.
