• Contributed to awareness-raising and capacity-building initiatives for project beneficiaries and community volunteers on issues related to forced labor, human trafficking, and relevant labor rights legislation, with a focus on the fishing sector.

Project: TUKLAS Innovation Labs

• Led the TUKLAS Mindanao Innovation Lab, supporting WFP-aligned objectives of strengthening community resilience, and promoting locally driven, innovative DRR solutions across six administrative regions.
• Oversaw and provided technical and operational support to 10 sub-grantee organizations, ensuring the development and implementation of community-based DRR innovations that respond to local food security and disaster risk challenges.
• Ensured strategic coherence and integration of human-centered design approaches in local DRR innovations, aligning with government development, disaster preparedness plans, and WFP’s resilience-building strategies.
• Supervised a multidisciplinary project team, including grants management, MEAL, security, communications, and advocacy personnel, to deliver on project outcomes efficiently and inclusively.
• Acted as WFP’s regional focal point for the Innovation Lab in Mindanao, maintaining strong coordination with government agencies, local authorities, civil society organizations, private sector actors, and innovation consortium partners.
