Clinical Responsibilities

1. Patient Care:

• Perform preoperative evaluations to assess patient readiness for anesthesia.
• Administer and manage various forms of anesthesia (Regional Anesthesia, General Anesthesia, Sedation, Local Anesthesia and the likes) during surgeries or procedures.
• Monitor and manage patient's vital signs during surgery to ensure safety
• Provide postoperative pain management and monitor recovery from anesthesia.

2. Supervision:

• Oversee anesthesia residents in clinical settings, ensuring proper techniques and patient safety.
• Step i to manage complex or high-risk cases requiring advanced expertise.

3. Collaboration:

• Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop patient-centered care plans.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss challenging cases.

Educational Responsibilities

1. Resident Training:

• Provide hand-on training in anesthetic techniques, patient monitoring, and emergency management.
• Conduct regular lectures, workshops, and simulation exercises for anesthesia residents.
• Evaluate residents' performance through clinical assessments, feedback, and structured evaluations.

2. Curriculum Development:

• Develop and update training programs in accordance with national and international anesthesiology guidelines.
• Incorporate new technologies and advancements in anesthesiology into training curriculum.

3. Mentorship:

• Guide residents in research, quality improvement projects, and case presentations.
• Support residents in preparing for board exams and career development.
