Responsible in providing direct or indirect professional nursing services in a variety of settings. OPERATING ROOM NURSE:
As an Operating Room Nurse, I work in shifts and at odd hours. I have to attend emergency cases and prepare for operations at very short notices. It may be expected of me to keep the operation room always ready for emergency operations.
NICU Nurse
1. Responsible for observing and monitoring each patient's symptoms and progress.
2. On a regular basis, charts the patient's progress, check vital signs and reports concerns to physicians in the intensive care unit.
3. In emergency situations, expected to react quickly and perform life-saving procedures, such as CPR.
4. Monitors IV lines, oxygen intake and the performance of a breathing tube.
5. Notes health concerns, symptom changes, health improvements, and family concerns.
6. Communicates with family members to provide information about treatments, medical options and precautions.
Delivery Room Nurse
1. Responsible for staying with the mother when labor begins and supporting the mother through a healthy delivery.
2. During labor, monitors the fetus and mother, counting contractions as they come.
3. Performs the first vaginal examination for the mother
4. Helps the mother breathe her way through complicated contractions.
5. Administers IVs to the mother and preps her for a cesarean section if necessary.
6. Takes care of the baby right after delivery.
7. Takes the Apgar score of the newborn and records birth weight.
8. Applies identification bands to newborns and supplies the mother and baby with medications post-delivery.
9. Asses the mother if she shows signs of postpartum depression.
Medical- Surgical Ward, Pediatric Ward and OB- Gyne Ward 2005- 2007
· Managing the patients, taking care of their well being and health.
· Assessing patients, administering care, providing treatments and medications to the patients to ensure that the patients are being perfectly treated.
· Assists physicians during rounds, carry out their orders; update them regarding their patient, report untoward reactions of care or treatment.

· Routine vital sign checks, changes in status, continence issues, diets and even visitors are documented in the patient's chart.
