• Performs microbiological testing in all Raw Materials, Finished Goods, Machineries and Personnel to ensure good microbiological quality.

• Prepares certificate of analysis on all products that pass the tests

• Conducts air sampling and heterotrophic analysis of water sample once a month. Makes a report out of the analysis.

• Prepares diluents, medium and necessary equipments for micro testing

• Reports microbiological non-conformity of products to concerned Heads

• Coordinates with the Immediate Superior about any proposed changes on the micro laboratory procedures

• Supervises micro laboratory assistant's activities to meet her responsibilities and duties

• Plans daily micro laboratory activities

• Monitor all the reagents needed for the analysis

• Performs inventory of laboratory equipments and supplies when necessary

• Inform Immediate Superior the necessary reagents to be requested

• Monitor the temperature of the incubator

• Check the analytical balance position and sterilize before weighing

• Document all reports and results of the analysis.

• Immediately reports Immediate Superior any non-conformity encountered

• Check cleanliness of the micro laboratory area, tools and equipment

• Performs other duties assigned by the Immediate Superior

• Practice Cost Saving Measures in your respective department.

• Assisted in the identification of microorganisms by performing applicable microscopy techniques.
• Promoted a safe work environment by consistently following biosafety guidelines when handling hazardous materials or biological agents.
• Maintained quality control standards by adhering to established laboratory protocols during sample processing and analysis.
• Ensured timely completion of lab tasks by prioritizing assignments and working closely with team members.

• Conducts monitoring, assessment and evaluation of MBFDP Project
• Consolidates and prepares narrative Reports of MBFDP for submission to concern offices
• Performs other duties assigned by the supervisor
