  • Be assigned to a specific hospital or act as a roving PhilHealth-CARES for several hospitals within the PhilHealth Regional Offices’ jurisdiction to perform the following activities;
  • Provide information, guidance and assistance on PhilHealth related matters to members, their legal dependents and to potential members at the hospital level;
  • Liaise between PhilHealth, the health care provider, the member or the legal dependent and other stakeholders involved in ensuring that patients shall be able to avail of their PhilHealth benefits;
  • Issue forms and documents needed by members and their legal dependents to avail of the benefits as may be authorized by the Corporation;
  • Render services at the number of hours and schedule to be mutually agreed upon by the Parties herein represented;
  • Submit an Accomplishment Report together with the Tally Sheet to PhilHealth on the fifth (5th) working day of each month covering the period of this Job-Order Contract;
  • Gather data and participate in studies and researches pertaining to the implementation of benefit packages particularly the Case-Rates Payment schemes and No Balance Billing (NBB) policy and other PhilHealth projects implemented at the hospital level;
  • Perform other task that requires PhilHealth presence at the hospital level.
  • As may be needed, participate in the monitoring of the PhilHealth CARES Project at the PhilHealth Regional Office (PRO) or PhilHealth Branch to specifically perform only the following functions:
  • Assist the CARES Supervisor of the PhilHealth Regional Office in keeping the PhilHealth-CARES updated and informed about policies and guidelines;
  • Provide PhilHealth-CARES with information needed by clients in case such is not available at the hospital level;
  • Implement the Job Order Compliance Monitoring for PhilHealth-CARES in the PRO in coordination with the CARES Supervisor;
  • Monitor the submission of required monthly reports by PhilHealth-CARES and if needed, provide them with assistance with regard thereto;
  • If needed, collate and consolidate the reports submitted by PhilHealth-CARES;
  • Assist PhilHealth-CARES in empowering members by liaising and coordinating their needs with appropriate Offices in the PRO;
  • Follow the work schedule at the PRO unless otherwise altered by the CARES Supervisor;
  • Act as the first level of escalation for complaints not addressed by PhilHealth-CARES deployed to the hospital; and
  • Serve as reliever of PhilHealth CARES who could not report for work or get deployed to a specified hospital in case the CARES Supervisor can perform the tasks and activities stipulated in this Section.
  • As may be needed, be assigned to the Project Management Team of the PhilHealth CARES Project at the Head Office to perform the following specific functions
  • Perform staff support activities and tasks in the planning, organizing, monitoring and evaluating the PhilHealth-CARES Project nationwide;
  • Continuously improve the reporting system of the PhilHealth-CARES Project;
  • Collate and consolidate the reports submitted by other PhilHealth-CARES nationwide for submission to Management;
  • Provide information from the Corporation’s database to other PhilHealth-CARES deployed nationwide in case they have no access thereto;
  • Provide staff support to other PhilHealth-CARES deployed nationwide particularly in the interpretation and dissemination of new policies and guidelines;
  • As may be needed, serve as reliever of PhilHealth CARES deployed to specified PhilHealth Accredited Hospitals in the National Capital Region who could not report for work; and
  • Perform other task assigned by the Coordinator of PMT-CARES.
