Role:
- Perform the role of Designated Person Ashore as defined in the ISM Code Chapter 4

- Team Lead, Technical working Group for the delivery of LNG and Ammonia fueled new building ships.
Responsibilities
MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION
1. Responsible for developing and enhancing quality assurance procedures and processes related to machinery and technical matters, in collaboration with document owners and approvers.
2. Assume the role as line manager for the Technical Support team, making sure that the PMS and Technical project employees provide timely and sufficient support to managed vessels under the fleet per ISM Code.
3. Lead technical projects together with relevant technical personnel.
4. Assume the role of Vessel Manager for the assigned vessel/s.
5. Ensure that the company’s safety and environmental management system (SEMS) concerning machinery and equipment operation, repair and maintenance:
a.is in continuous compliance with mandatory rules and regulations;
b.takes into account applicable codes, guidelines and standards recommended by IMO, Flag States, Class and maritime industry organizations; and meet the following functional requirements:
c. a safety and environmental-protection policy;
d. instructions and procedures to ensure safe operation of managed vessel/s and protection of the environment in compliance with relevant international and flag State legislations;
e. procedures for reporting accidents and non-conformities with the provisions of the ISM Code;
6. Ensure that the safety and environmental protection policy for machinery and technical aspects of the vessels is implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization, both by the vessels and the Vessel Managers.
7. Formulate Technical support goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for achieving organizational objectives, identify and implement strategies, projects, programs and initiatives to meet goals and KPIs
