Responsible in the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance of WESM revenue metering installations with the Area of Responsibility (AOR). The position is mainly accountable for the following core functions:
1. Direct interface with trading participants (Gen Co, Distribution Utility, Electric Cooperative, Embedded Generators) in the field during the implementation of maintenance activities, meter data retrieval and other metering related activities. To serve as NGCP’s onsite technical focal person for these activities.
2. Onsite implementation of installation, relocation, testing, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance of metering assets (CT, VT, CIT, SA, meter, modem, etc.) including the corresponding documentation in accordance with WESM and internal business process.
3. Facilitate the WESM registration and de-registration of metering installations.
4. Uploading of WESM and PGC required metering asset information to AMIS/EAM and SharePoint.
5. Inspection and evaluation of the operational status and compliances of revenue metering installation which shall serve as the basis for WESM & PGC compliance projects of NGCP.
6. In charge of onsite maintenance related activities such as tools, equipment and personnel safety management, security of metering installations and proper coordination with trading participants (Gen Co, DU, EC, EG)

3. Assists other groups and/or sections in the maintenance of substation equipment.
4. Performs corrective maintenance such as repair, replacement or modification of existing protection and secondary device parts and structures.
5. Assists other groups and/or sections in the maintenance of substation equipment and associated auxiliaries.
6. Provide assistance with other internal customers in the installation, repair and/or modification of existing protection and secondary device including Engineering Projects and external customers as authorized.

1. Performs maintenance of battery chargers, station service batteries, disconnect switches, electrical control mechanism of circuit breakers, lighting, local communication facilities, power/station service/instrument transformers.
2. Wiring works on new/additional/revised switching control panels, control power circuit, lighting and control communication facilities.
3. Inspection/analysis/troubleshooting of electrical abnormalities on power transformer cooling, control wiring, air conditioning system, station service batteries and associated switchyard power equipment.
