1. Ensures that the following:
1.1 Pre-treatment preparations are performed and inform the Hemodialysis Head for daily monitoring results:
a. Reverse Osmosis machine are functioning
b. Daily Chlorine Monitoring
c. Conductivity
d. Total dissolve solid (raw and product water)
e. All Hemodialysis Machine are functioning and passed the T1 test
f. Heat Disinfection of the Hemodialysis Machine
g. Check permeate plate for any leakages.
1.2 During Treatment
a. Monitor Reverse Osmosis Machine
b. Do troubleshoot with the Dialysis Machine when a problem arises
1.3 Post-Treatment Procedures
a. All Hemodialysis Machine are functioning
b. Heat disinfection is performed
2. Reports to Hemodialysis Head of the following:
2.1 Monthly monitoring of the dialysis machine working hours.
2.2 Monitoring of the changes of the machine filter (Diasafe).
2.3 Problem with the Reverse Osmosis machine and defective hemodialysis machines.
3. Schedule disinfection for the Reverse Osmosis membrane and hemodialysis machine and be present during the time of disinfection.
4. Ensures that collection of the water sample of the following test are collected in proper location and in aseptic technique.
4.1 Monthly Bacteriological Test
4.2 Monthly Water Culture
4.3 Semi-Annual Chemical Test
4.4 Annual Serum Electrolyte Test
5. Implement safe and effective infection control procedures in accordance with the hospital policies and procedures.
6. Orient, trained and evaluate regular and newly hired hemodialysis technician in coordination with the Dialysis Center Head.
7. Ensures that machines at Dialysis Center are complete and functioning.
7.1 Hemodialysis Machines
7.2 Portable Reverse Osmosis
8. Monitor the reverse osmosis machine during operational hours and work hand in hand with the Engineering Department in troubleshooting when problems arise.
9. Working closely with healthcare providers, nurses and other medical professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
10. Participates on trainings and seminars that would help improve the center.
11. Identifying opportunities for process improvement, implementing best practices, and staying updated on advancements in dialysis technology and techniques.
12. Do inventory on all supplies needed and make sure there is enough supply to use.
13. Performs other work related functions which may be assigned by the immediate superior.
