Accomplishments:

I was able to create a loan application that enables customer to apply for a new loan and an admin to approve the loan application.

The things I learned in on my journey in creating the MFRP are:

• Creation of Data Model - enables me to retrieve and save records using Data Transform from the PEGA system of records. I believe having a good data model design will have a great impact on the modularity, reusability, maintainability and performance of the application which is the main goal too of the PEGA BPM.
• Creation of User Interfaces (Views/Harness/Portals) - Views can be reusable and automatically generated from the Data types. Harness allows developer to customize view that can cater the request of the business unit.
• Creation of Report - creating query using joins to cater the report requested by the business unit.
• Creation of Flows/Data Flows - this will contain your business logics and rules of the application.
• Personas/Access Rules - the authentication part of PEGA is still new for me and have to research more on this.

I ensure that I have maximize the OOTD functionality of PEGA before I override or customized any default functionality. This keep things simple for me and I was able to have a glimpse of how the framework work and have appreciation to it.

Accomplishments:

Robotics process automation has been in the Philippine Industry for quite some time. We are the pioneer team to handle robotics automation in Metrobank. As PEGA Robotics Automation follows .Net Framework methodology, my familiarity with the framework makes it an advantage for me. One project I’ve handled is eKYC Branch Automation that started as a prototype, and was able to implement the project me as the main developer. The architecture is from a Mobile application sends message to the Azure service bus queue while a service is waiting to consume the message, on message received, the available Robot Automation is enabled to inquire, create and update client details on a various Bank systems/applications. I was also the involved in the creation our initial RPA documentations from the Project Charter, User Story Documents, Solution Design Documents and Project Closure Documents. Also I was assigned to be the go-to person and keeper of the automation coding standards. As code standards personnel I maintain the interaction xml and activities available for other developers use. Being a small group with limited developer, we are also the one to support and maintain the application that we handled. As part of support and maintenance, I am able to utilize my analytical skills by applying the Root Cause Analysis and my Coordination and Communication skills are enhanced.

Accomplishments:

I was involved in full life-cycle of software development including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, debugging and maintenance. Our client is Human Resources Group and we handled the following projects such as Employee Demographics, Employee Plantilla / Organization, Employee Assessment and Employee Timekeeping. My analytical thinking, building client relationship and planning/designing system architecture was developed during my stay with Metrobank. Skill wise, my web programming using ASP .Net was enhanced. Since Metrobank is a large company, I was exposed to handling large databases that includes creating complex queries, indexing, concurrency, security and data integrity.

Accomplishments:

I started as an OJT for 6 months and was absorb as a Junior .NET Programmer. I worked with a 5 developer team, 1 Senior .NET Programmer, 1 Database Admin and 3 Junior .NET Programmers which includes me. I was entrusted to lead the team when our senior programmer is on leave. My exposure in an online application gives me in depth understanding of ASP .Net Authentication and Authorization, handling of simultaneous processes (Threading) and using Web Services architecture. LINQ to Entities helps me to create queries without using SQL Server Management Studio. Unit testing and Mock testing was used to control simulations of the system processes. Dealing with numbers and formulas was enhanced. Dealing with date and time was a nightmare but was able to overcome this during our development of Bizniverse (a system that includes a Payroll module).

• A system that captures employees time in and time out.
• BIZniverse - This application was created using Lightswitch.
• Anapplication with a complete Employee Demographics, EmployeeTime Management and Payroll Module.
• The system also includes text parsing facility.
• Accounting Information System - an application created using Lightswitch.
• A system that stores and processes financial and accounting data.
• Zarand Lending Loan Application System - this application was also created using Ligthswitch.
• This systems computes loan prequel, approves and release loan and monitors payments.
• Casino Online Game- an online casino where we use MVC for the back end and CSS and jQuery for the front end. Uses signal R for the webpage real time update.

Accomplishments:

I decided to continue my studies while working. As a working student, I learned to multitask and to work hard to accomplish your goals. I was able to adapt to new surroundings and be versatile. My skills with working well with others were also developed. After my contract, I continued supporting my studies by working as a helper at my aunts’ mini-store.

Accomplishments:

As a cashier, we greet customers, take and assemble orders and do a suggestive selling. Working at a fast food chain allows me to learn how to deal with people in your work place, may it be your co-workers or customers.
